As mentioned yesterday we had a few new products come in with this shipment. Photos and specs have now been completed and they are listed on the site.
First up an addition to our reducer bush lineup – 10mm reducers.
We have had them made to give the best vintage look on headstocks with modern 3/8″ / 10mm hole – the lip is 11mm so you keep the small vintage footprint. We had them made so now there is a direct drop in for our Mighty Mite necks and modern spec Fender necks with 3/8″ / 10mm. Made from brass we have them in chrome and nickel and they are of course an option on all our vintage style machine heads. As always, be careful when fitting and carefully ream/sand/enlarge the holes if too tight.
Next up our new Vintage Style Smooth String Ferrules.
We’ve modelled them on the original ferrules used by Fender up to the mid 60s – 9.5mm flange/lip with 7.94mm body (5/16″) and 7.8mm total depth. Nickel plated brass.
Finally we now have Stainless Steel Modern Spaced Block Saddles.
Narrower modern 52.5mm spacing (10.5mm between strings) these are an easy way to upgrade your bridge/tremolo from pot metal/zinc saddles without having to change the whole bridge. I think these will be a smart upgrade on the Squier Vintage Modified La Cabronita – who’s going to be first to try them out?
We had a few more new products on this order which have unfortunately been delayed but we expect them sometime in the first 2 weeks of December, so a few Christmas goodies are on the way!
