Current stock of bodies – links.

This page is now out of date.

Here are links to pictures of all the bodies currently in stock. You will find the body #, weight and number of pieces on the picture of the front of the body.

If one strikes your fancy just order directly from the site and add a note of the body # to your order. As a body sells the links will be removed, so (with luck!) the list below will always be up to date.

  1. Hi – “sanded and sealed ” – what is it sealed with and will the sealer be compatible with a primer for a final nitro finish? Also, why isn’t Mighty Mite stamped on the body ?

    Thanks, Ivo

    1. Hi Ivo,
Mighty Mite use an oil based poly sealer. I have had only one report of a bad reaction to a paint in the hundreds of bodies I have sold. It was a customer who bought a cellulose lacquer from a car paint supplier.
That said if you are looking for a flat finish you will be grain filling ash anyway, and it is a good idea to seal the body again before painting. If you have any concerns over compatibility a seal coat of dewaxed shellac will completey seal the body and is perfectly fine to use with nitro.

Mighty Mite have never stamped their bodies, I don’t know why.
      Gavin
