More new products from Japan

Starting off with the smallest of the new lines with slotted radiused bone nut from Hosco. With bigger string slots than the Allparts “guides” these require much less adjustment when fitting. With the added benefit of being able to be used on flat or radiused slots by removing the tab on the underside.

43mm wide with 34.5mm spacing E-E

Now the big stuff.

Hosco Alder Hardtail Stratocaster bodies. Made in Japan from North American alder these are sanded ready to finish. They come without string-through holes allowing your choice of bridge and string spacing. Fancy a top load Stratatele? How about modern narrow-spaced string through bridge? It will require a little more experience to place the bridge and drill string-though holes (if required), so please be aware when ordering.

Finally, Hosco double bound Telecaster bodies. These are rather swish – 2 piece centre joined with ivory coloured binding front and back. Sanded ready to finish. Drilled for vintage spec bridge and 3/8″ flush mount string ferrules (available on the order page). Hosco have produced a press-fit jack cup for their Telecaster bodies (reminiscent of the original milled jack cups from Fender) which can also be ordered with the body.  Be sure to check out Hosco Tele body mock-up with Fender parts all the pictures on the order page.

The image to the left is with Fender pickguard and bridgeplate dry-fitted to show compatibility.

I have a limited supply of the bodies as I am testing the waters – if they sell I will definitely be ordering more and expanding the range (different coloured bindings/fancy caps/finished bodies).

One more sample item to write about a little later, but for now, that’s all folks!
