A number of sample items arrived with the Gotoh/Hosco shipment. Some will be finding their way into stock soon and some were ruled out. I need some input on this one though.
Gotoh is producing a rather sexy range of vintage Telecaster bridges with their own compensated saddle design. I received one sample of the TI-TC1SCS cutaway design.
It is very nicely made, with flat bottom, smooth corners and a finish mimicking the half-satin of the Fender Pat. Pend plate. The saddles are reversible so may be used in any position and therefore also on right or left handed bridges (the underside of each has the opposite offset from the top). I am told that the saddles are currently not available separately, however should be soon.
So, why the need for opinions on whether to stock this line?
The retail price is $100/85euro.
I believe I would be able to list the bridges at the £65 mark.
