Sliding in under the wire tonight here are another 2 new products.
We now have 2 different types of 5 way Superswitch – a two pole single wafer and 4 pole double wafer.
The single wafer is the same size as a regular 5 way switch but has 10 independent connections for more wiring options. The double wafer is basically 2 of the single wafer switches in one case, giving a huge amount of wiring options. (The extra width of the second wafer makes it unsuitable for standard Telecaster control routes without some hacking around)
I’ll be honest and admit that just looking at the spec diagrams of both makes my head spin, let alone trying to work out a particular wiring scheme. Luckily the Seymour Duncan website has a couple of great posts about both types of switches, and the always useful Phostenix site will most likely have any switching combination you can think of listed!
